It also covers what the world would be like without the Reformation. What would happen without the catholic reformation?             The catholic reformation was kicked off by a man named Martin Luther who was not fond of the church abusing its power, he posted the 95 theses on the door of a church. Martin Luther grew up being told to go into law by his family. In 1505 Martin Luther was caught in a near death experience. He was in a storm and prayed to St. Anne to save his life. He swore that if she saved him he would become a monk. Which she did, and he acted accordingly. If he was never in this storm, then he would not have become a monk and started the reformation.
